Several Premier League players struggled to find their shooting boots last season.
And while Radamel Falcao, Daniel Sturridge and Wilfried Bony may have made the headlines for their lack of goals, none of the three were amongst the league’s worst finishers last season.
In fact there are several surprising additions, with ex-Aston Villa captain Fabian Delph, Manchester City winger Jesus Navas and well, somewhat unsurprisingly Manchester United dud Angel Di Maria.
The list is comprised depending on a player’s goal/shot ratio and in order for a player to be included he has to have taken at least 30 shots (excluding any blocks).
Other players on the list include, West Brom midfielder Craig Gardner, Burnley’s Scott Arfield, Swansea’s Jonjo Shelvey, Everton youngster Ross Barkley, Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Willian and Tottenham star Ryan Mason.
Oh, and of course the mercurial Mario Balotelli is also on the list with just 1 Premier League goal despite having taken 35 shots on target.
Below is a complete run down of how many shots each player took and their rankings in the top 10 via ESPN:
