After a few seasons of dwindling attendances, Celtic fans finally packed Celtic Park for a Scottish Premiership match as their side opened up the season with a game against Ross County.
It was by no means full to the 60,000 brim that Parkhead can hold, however, it was the closest it could get to a Champions League night as just under 50,000 fans went to see the league champions unfurl their flag.
Those who did attend the game which was live on television were lucky enough to see their side pick up a 2-0 victory to claim their first three points of the season before the all important midweek Champions League qualifier against Azerbaijan side FK Qarabag.
And one fan was so glad he was there he apparently didn’t want to leave as TV pictures showed him chained to a railing inside the ground.
In the image Hoops winger James Forrest can be seen readying himself for a throw in while one fan in the background’s hands are tied – quite literally.
We wonder if he knows Celtic won’t appear at Parkhead for another couple of weeks …
