Jordan Spieth may have finished second best to eventual PGA champion Jason Day yesterday but he’ll always be the top dog to his sister, Ellie.
Day recorded an outstanding score of -20 to claim his first major with Spieth running the Australian closest as play closed on Sunday.
And while it was a tournament tinged with sadness for Spieth, his impressive score of -17 saw him overtake rival Rory McIlroy as the new world #1 in the world of golf.
A fact of course that was not lost on Spieth’s young sister Ellie, who posed with her brother as the family flew home to Dallas this afternoon.
And the youngster showed her appreciation for her brothers accomplishments with an excellent “Spieth for president” t-shirt, with the snap being posted to Twitter by the duo’s mum, Christine:

Spieth won both the Masters and the US Open in 2015 with big things expected from the 22-year-old.
