Usain Bolt dominated headlines for two reasons yesterday.
The first, and more serious, reason for him making the news was his gold-winning performance in the 200m World Championship final in Beijing.
It completed a double after he took gold in the 100m final last Sunday.
But the second, and funnier, story came as he celebrated his 2o0m final victory.
Bolt was entertaining the crowd as he made his way around the Bird’s Nest track before being cruelly wiped out by a cameraman on a runaway segway.
The moment was caught on camera and went viral around the world, with Chinese cameraman Song Tao gaining notoriety as the person who could have seriously injured the fastest man on the planet.
But luckily Bolt was able to get back to his feet and joke about the incident afterwards – before meeting Song ahead of his medal ceremony today.

Song spoke to The Guardian after the incident and insisted he’s glad there was no injury to Bolt.
The important thing is that he is OK. I’m fine and ready to get back to work.
And in case you want to see Bolt being smashed by the segway one more time, here it is:
