VIDEO: Matteo Darmian Shakes Micah Richards’ Hand Before Marking Him at Corner

Matteo Darmian’s unconventional approach to marking Micah Richards at corners has drawn significant attention today.

The Manchester United defender squared off against the powerful defender as his side beat Aston Villa last night.

And this clip has gone viral since after being picked out by the cameras last night:

But that wasn’t the only time the pair came up against each other – with Darmian brilliantly shaking Richards’ hand at a corner in the second-half.

Maybe he was making up for the earlier incident above:

Darmian impressed again as United ground out a 1-0 win over Villa at Villa Park.

It was a rare outing for Adnan Januzaj under Louis van Gaal and he was the man who grabbed the winner over Tim Sherwood’s men.

As for Villa, they’ll travel to Crystal Palace next weekend hoping the United defeat is only a blip in their early season form.
