Twitter Wasn’t Very Impressed With Arsenal’s Line-up For North London Derby Clash

Arsenal are desperately looking to get their season back on track after back to back defeats to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League and Chelsea last weekend at Stamford Bridge.

And with the pressure firmly on Arsene Wenger’s shoulders for tonight’s League Cup match against fiercest rivals Tottenham, the Gunners boss was expected to pick a strong XI.

However, when the line-up was officially announced ahead of kick-off it appeared most of the social media world was quick to jump on Wenger’s case.

The Frenchman has decided to select backup goalkeeper David Ospina along with Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta and Calum Chambers.

All four of which are seen essentially as squad players who aren’t quite up to speed by the Emirates faithful.

And these Twitter users were quick to tell Wenger exactly what they thought of his line-up ahead of such a crucial match:

If Arsenal do lose against Spurs tonight it will be the first time since 2010 that the Gunners will have lost three matches on the spin.
