VIDO: Lionel Messi Is Now In an Advert For a Sock & Bubble Game and It’s Awful

VIDO: Lionel Messi Is Now In an Advert For a Sock & Bubble Game and It’s Awful

Lionel Messi isn’t just the greatest football player to ever grace the planet.

He is also an adequate actor having appeared in many great adverts of the span of his career.

From adverts for drink giants Pepsi alongside Didier Drogba, Fernando Torres and Jack Wilshere to the Gillette commercial with Roger Federer, Messi has featured in some belters including the greatest of them all for Turkish Airlines with Kobe Bryant.

However, his latest piece of filming is just dreadful.

The Barcelona superstar is now selling his own branded socks over in Australia which can apparently play keepy up with bubbles … yes, socks and bubbles.

The advert starts off pretty good as Messi and two young kids walk in to a dark locker room wearing dark hoodies and looking ready for something serious.

Then it all goes downhill …

The four-time Ballon d’Or winner opens up a locker where he whips out a pair of hideous socks designed like a football boot with ‘Messi 10’ on them before blowing up a bubble and playing football with it.
