Chelsea youngsters Lewis Baker and Dominic Solanke hit the net as Vitesse beat Zwolle 5-1 earlier today.
Baker has made 11 appearances, scoring three goals from midfield and impressing with some tidy displays during his loan spell in Holland.
While Solanke has found opportunities more difficult to come by, he’s still got three goals in seven games and has looked a threat whenever he’s on the pitch.
Today was no different as they both got in on the act for Vitesse’s romp away at Zwolle.
The victory moved the Vitas up to fifth in the Eredivisie table, five points away from Ajax at the top.
Baker opened the scoring with a brilliant seventh-minute free-kick and that was followed up by the team’s second 14 minutes later through Solanke’s penalty:

Twenty-year-old midfielder Baker has just one top team appearance for Chelsea, coming on in their FA Cup victory over QPR in January last year.
And Solanke is the same, picking up just one appearance in cup competition – the 18-year-old striker appearing as a substitute in Chelsea’s 6-0 win over Maribor in the Champions League last term.
They’re both at Vitesse until the end of the season and will be looking to prove to Jose Mourinho that they can challenge for a regular first team place next term.
