“What An Opportunity”: Celtic Fans React as Kieran Tierney Starts Vs Fenerbahce

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has made the decision to start teenager full-back Kieran Tierney in tonight’s Europa League tie with Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

The Hoops’ regular left-back Emilio Izaguirre is out through suspension, meaning Deila had to choose between Tierney and Manchester United loanee Tyler Blackett.

However despite Blackett’s Premier League experience, the Norwegian has placed his faith with the 18-year-old Scot.

And as you’d expect with the news regarding such a crucial decision reaching social media before kick-off, Celtic fans were quick to give their two cents.

While some argued about Tierney’s ability at the highest level, others heralded the youngster claiming he has all the attributes to succeed.

What most fans definitely agreed on, however, was that it’s a massive night for the star from the Isle of Man:

Celtic will be hoping to take all three points tonight after being held by Ajax in their Europa League opener in Amsterdam.

Meanwhile in the other game from Celtic’s group, Ajax take on Molde – who managed to record a shock win against Fenerbache on match day one.
