It All Got a Bit Too Much For Kris Commons’ Fiancee Last Night

It All Got a Bit Too Much For Kris Commons’ Fiancee Last Night

Kris Commons will dominate headlines for the next few days after his rant at Ronny Deila and the Celtic management team was caught on camera last night.

The Hoops attacker was furious at being brought off 14 minutes from time in his side’s 3-1 Europa League defeat to Molde in Norway.

Commons had scored Celtic’s only goal 20 minutes before and generally looked like the only real attacking threat the side had all night at a rain-soaked Aker Stadium.

The clip of Commons raging at Deila, John Kennedy and John Collins has gone viral, with his manager and team-mate Anthony Stokes both giving their view on it post-match.

Deila described the actions of his player as “unacceptable”, but Stokes – who didn’t travel with the Celtic squad for the match – took to Twitter and told his followers that he didn’t think it was a big deal.

Commons’ fiancee Lisa Hague – a vocal presence on Twitter – was quiet throughout the match, but did break her silence shortly after the full-time whistle, writing:

As stressful as it was for every Celtic fan watching last night, it must have been tough for Hague to see her husband put himself into the firing line.

Deila is expected to speak again today ahead of his side’s league fixture with Dundee United on Sunday and you can bet he’ll have more to say on Commons.

What’s your view – was Commons right to go crazy at the Celtic management? Let us know in the comments below.
