Jamie Carragher’s Son Struggles to Get to Sleep… So He Gives Him Steven Gerrard’s Book

Ex-Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher found the perfect solution as his son struggled to get to sleep… by giving the youngster a copy of Steven Gerrard’s book.

Gerrard’s book, titled “My Story” was released back in September, a few months after the former Liverpool skipper left Anfield to join LA Galaxy.

And while the book details Gerrard’s rise through the ranks, him being awarded the England captaincy and Liverpool’s European victory in Istanbul, Carragher couldn’t help but have a cheeky dig at his old teammate.

Yes, the 37-year-old Sky Sports pundit took to Instagram tonight to tell his 291,000 followers that he’s solved his son’s sleepless nights by giving him a copy of the book.

Perhaps a sly comment insinuating Gerrard’s story could send said young lad to sleep…we certainly think so!

 

 

 

Several Instagram users responded to Carragher’s post by claiming Gerrard will already have texted his old chum about the remark.

Others claimed that it won’t be long before the Galaxy midfielder gets his much-needed revenge.
