Kenny Miller: Nathan Oduwa Hasn’t Taught Me Rainbow Flick.. I’d Pull My Hamstring

Kenny Miller has taken a humorous approach to the controversy surrounding Nathan Oduwa’s tricks.

The on-loan Tottenham youngster was the victim of a mistimed tackle from Livingston midfielder Kieran Gibbons in Rangers’ midweek victory at Ibrox.

It was a poor challenge which saw Oduwa fail to turn out for the second-half of the 1-0 win.

But it was escalated into an even more controversial situation when Livi manager Mark Burchill said Gibbons shouldn’t be heavily criticised because he’s “one of our own” and Oduwa isn’t.

Those comments have been criticised by almost everyone in Scottish football, including Rangers.

But Miller has played things down and brilliantly commented on how Oduwa hasn’t taught him the rainbow flick which saw him hit headlines in his first game as a Rangers player after the opponent he tried it on said the Englishman was “trying to take the p***”.

Not that Miller thinks he could pick it up – he’d probably injure himself:

There’s nothing better than some light-hearted comment after the last two days of accusations and apologies.

Miller did defend Gibbons for the challenge – and said Oduwa wasn’t targeted:

Rangers fans, what’s your view – is Oduwa a target for opponents? Let us know in the comments below.
