Arsene Wenger is expected ring the changes tonight for Arsenal’s League Cup clash with Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.
And the Frenchman today admitted that the game with give Costa Rica international Joel Campbell a chance to shine.
Campbell has been used sparingly so far this season with the Gunners relying on the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to provide width.
However, as he has done so readily over the years Wenger will look to name a changed side for tonight’s match against Wednesday and Campbell is likely to benefit from the squad’s flexibility.
Speaking about Campbell, Wenger admitted that he really like the youngster for both his “outstanding” individual quality and that the forward is also a “team player” who works hard for the team.
Wenger added that he is convinced Campbell will get a chance to show his best form at the Emirates and that he is hopeful the player will show the quality needed to play for Arsenal tonight:

Arsenal remain a threat on all fronts this season, sitting in second place in the Premier League and having secured an impressive Champions League victory against Bayern Munich last week.
