Cristiano Ronaldo did his best impression of Sir Alex Ferguson while dishing out a dose of his famed ‘Hairdryer Treatment’ while both were at Manchester United.
The Real Madrid superstar spent six years under Fergie at Old Trafford before leaving for Spain in an £80million move in 2009.
But despite his last dealings with Ferguson in a dressing room coming over six years ago, Ronaldo still remembers the legendary manager’s anger well.
Speaking to the BBC as they filmed a documentary into the Manchester United icon’s impact on the club – titled ‘Sir Alex Ferguson: Secrets of Success’ – the Portuguese hitman recreated the ‘Hairdryer Treatment’.
And it’s clear to see from Ronaldo’s description that an angry Fergie in full flight was something to steer well clear of:
United have failed to win a trophy since Ferguson’s exit from the job in 2013 and fans must pine for times when they could call on him and Ronaldo to help them challenge for honours.
