Filippo Inzaghi was back scoring in an AC Milan shirt at the weekend as he appeared in a memorial match for Claudio Lippi.
Lippi was a presenter on AC’s Milan Channel when he was tragically killed in a motor incident on March 26, 2014.
A host of former players were involved in the memorial clash between AC and Inter Milan at Cassina de Pecchi’s stadium on Saturday.
Paolo Maldini, Massimo Ambrosini, Daniele Bonera, Cristian Brocchi, Ibrahim Ba, Alfredo Magni and Serginho joined Inzaghi for the game.
An entertaining clash finished 4-4 with goals for Ba and Brocchi as well as Inzaghi scoring two – his first a typical poacher’s strike for the legendary Italian striker:

In his hugely successful 11-year spell with AC Milan, Inzaghi scored 126 goals in 300 appearances – and despite his disappointing stint as manager of the club, he was celebrated as a hero by supporters at the charity game.
How Milan wish they had an out-and-out goalscorer like Inzaghi in their ranks now.
