Aaron Ramsey: Zagreb Victory Means Arsenal Go to Greece Confident of Qualification

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey believes tonight’s 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb has given the team the belief that they can still qualify for the knock-out stages of the Champions League.

A brace from Alexis Sanchez and a header from Mesut Ozil was enough for Arsene Wenger’s side to take all three points at the Emirates as Ramsey made a successful return from injury.

The Welsh international has been sorely missed in recent weeks but came on for Olivier Giroud in the second half as the Gunners took a commanding lead.

Their was a positive atmosphere around the Emirates from the early going as news spread that Bayern Munich were thrashing Olympiakos, meaning Arsenal’s European adventure isn’t over quite yet.

To secure qualification, however, Arsenal will need to travel to Greece and win their last game – something Ramsey feels is possible given tonight’s result.

The former Cardiff City star took to Twitter following the full-time whistle and admitted he was glad to be back on the pitch following his lay-off:

Arsenal travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich on Sunday afternoon, with the Gunners currently in fourth place in the Premier League.
