Georgios Samaras may have hinted at a move to MLS side New York Red Bulls with his latest Instagram post.
The former Celtic striker is currently without a club after leaving Saudi side Al-Hilal in the summer.
And the Daily Record reported last week that he could be heading to New York Cosmos as a replacement for retiring Spanish legend Raul.
But his last post on Instagram might get some Red Bulls fans excited – after he wrote about getting a job done by taking the bull by the horns:
We’re reading between the lines like many fans may do too, but it’s not unrealistic to think a player with Samaras’ experience at club and international level will interest the Red Bulls.
Head coach Jesse Marsch has led his side to the Eastern Conference semi-finals and could reach the Championship game if they can either draw or beat DC United in their second-leg clash on Sunday.
Red Bulls have a number of players who previously played their football in Britain, including Wright-Phillips brothers Shaun and Bradley, Mike Grella and Lloyd Sam.
Samaras – who spent two years at Manchester City, six at Celtic and one at West Brom – could be their latest addition ahead of the MLS regular season restarting next year.
