NFL Pundit Cecil Martin Carves a Turkey Live On Air… Not Everyone Was Impressed

Former Philadelphia Eagles full back Cecil Martin maintained his time-honoured tradition of carving the Thanksgiving Day turkey live on Sky Sports tonight.

Since hanging up his cleats, Martin has become a regular pundit as part of Sky’s coverage of the NFL.

And the 40-year-old, as always, was in high spirits as his former team travelled to Detroit to face the resurgent Lions as part of Sky’s Thanksgiving triple-header.

However, no matter how many times we see it, it’s always bizarre seeing the 40-year-old kitted out in full chef gear and also at the same time delivering some pinpoint half-time analysis.

But the naysayers were clearly outnumbered by fans who still revel in Martin’s carving of the turkey:

The Eagles are currently being battered 45-7 by the Lions in a complete whitewash at Ford Field.

Next up on Sky Sports, the undefeated Carolina Panthers take on Tony Romo’s Dallas Cowboys before Green Bay host the Chicago Bears in the late game.
