Neymar has never been the sort of player that has struggled for confidence, instead he’s the one who thrives on the spotlight and likes to let you know just how good he is.
And this has never more obvious than last night, when after the final whistle in Brazil’s match with Peru, Neymar offered his shirt to the referee.
Brazil had cruised to an easy win thanks to goals from Douglas Costa, Renato Augusto and Felipe Luis.
Neymar has of course been on top form so far this season for his club and in the absence of Lionel Messi, the 23-year-old has bagged an impressive 13 goals in 15 games.
Although he failed to get on the score sheet during his country’s victory, it’s clear Neymar remains the main man, with Barca teammate Luis Suarez claiming he may be the second best player in the world.
And what is star quality without a bit of attitude to back it up?
Thankfully the Colombian official, Jose Buitrago refused to get involved and rejected Neymar’s offer…
