Djibril Cisse has revealed the view from his Paris home which overlooks one of the areas hit by Friday’s terrorist attack in Paris.
The former Liverpool striker, 34, is believed to have been at the Stade de France to watch the match against Germany when a bomb went off just outside the ground.
The Frenchman took to Twitter to send out a message of condolence to families of the victims, and posted a picture showing just how close he lives to one of the targeted areas in the French capital.
Cisse said: “What a shock to see this horror from my window a thought for the families of the victims #PrayersForParis.”
