UFC was rocked to its core on Saturday night as the previously unbeaten Ronda Rousey finally lost a match.
Rousey went into the bout as the undisputed Women’s Bantamweight World Champion, with a record of 12-0 but her opponent Holly Holm, who was rated as a 20/1 outsider with some bookmakers before the fight, delivered a devastating roundhouse kick to the jaw, before proceeding to pound an unconscious Rousey into the canvas…

The thing is, Rousey really should have been alive to the threat of Holm’s explosive kicks, because she predicted exactly how her opponent would try to beat her almost a month previously.
Appearing on American TV to promote UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia, she told The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon:
“She’s the biggest threat to me on paper and stylistically.
“She’s the type of fighter I feel like you have to be very patient with.
“I feel like she’s going to try and keep distance and try to keep from away from and frustrated until the point I make a mistake and she can try to kick me in the head.
“But it’s not going to go like that…”
Sadly for Ronda, she had no idea how accurate her prediction was. She is yet to comment on the result after she was taken to hospital immediately after the brutal KO.
