The New Messi? Barcelona Youngster Scores a Ridiculous Wonder Goal

It’s not only been a good week for the Barcelona senior team but their under-19 side too.

The Catalan club are going through a purple patch at the minute, even by their usual high standards.

After hammering bitter enemies Real Madrid 4-0 on Saturday night, Barca turned their attentions to tonight’s Champions League tie at home to Roma, with a win enough to secure top spot in their group.

And their under-19 side had the same opposition in their sights, as they faced the Serie A side in the youth version of the competition and one lad stood out more than most.

Step forward Carles Alena.

The 17-year-old Spanish youth international scored an absolutely unbelievable solo effort to put his club 3-0 up on the Romans, and before they were pegged back to 3-3 by the visitors.

Running down the right flank, cutting inside onto his left foot and curling the ball into the bottom corner? Sound familiar?

Remember the name!
