Video: West Ham Star Dimitri Payet Uploads Clip of James McCarthy’s Horror Tackle

Dimitri Payet has uploaded a video of the horror tackle which threw his Premier League season into serious jeopardy.

The West Ham midfielder, who was the victim of a ferocious tackle from Everton’s James McCarthy at the weekend, has been ruled out for three months with a serious ankle injury.

Payet has of course been in inspired from for the Hammers since moving to London from Marseille in the summer and will be sorely missed during the festive period.

And the France international has since taken to social media, posting a video of the tackle which has ruled him out of  crucial matches against Tottenham, Manchester United, Southampton, Liverpool and Manchester City.

McCarthy was heavily criticised for the poor challenge and it would appear Payet is more than happy to fuel that fire by reminding fans about it:

The former Lille winger has made 12 appearances for West Ham, scoring five goals and creating three assists.

Whether Bilic has the squad to replace such a dangerous playmaker remains to be seen, however supporters will be hoping the 28-year-old can make a rapid recovery.
