WWE Congratulates Kansas City Royals On World Series Win With Championship Belt

The Kansas City Royals saw off the New York Mets 7-2 on Monday night to win the 2015 World Series.

The Royals came from behind in dramatic fashion to claim the win – and their first World Series victory in 30 years.

Their triumph earned them many congratulatory messages on social media from elated fans.

But none compared to a fitting gesture from sports entertainment giants, the WWE.

The wrestling franchise congratulated the Royals on their win – while company executive Triple H revealed that they would be sending them a custom-made championship belt to mark the occasion.
