Arsenal fans are still smarting from last night’s embarrassing defeat at Southampton and it appears they know exactly who to blame.
The Gunners spurned the opportunity to top the Premier League after going down 4-0 on the South Coast, but it’s not Arsene Wenger, Per Mertesacker or Mathieu Falmini who suffered the ire of the team’s shattered support this morning.
No, the man coming in for most stick was the game’s referee, with whistler Jon Moss coming under the spotlight.
After full-time, rather than criticise his team, Wenger chose to focus on Moss, insinuating that three of Southampton’s four goals shouldn’t have stood.
Wenger says 1st goal was offside, 2nd was a foul and the third was a goal kick.

And now a petition has been started to ban Moss from refereeing any future Arsenal matches, with the ridiculous suggestion gaining support from almost 400 signatories so far.
The full petition can be viewed here.
Who’d have thought that Arsenal fans would react in such an irrational manner to a defeat they fully deserved?
Maybe we should just get used to the idea thatis now a vehicle for irrationally angry football fans.
