Chelsea and Tottenham Target Jonathan Calleri Tweets Goodbye to Boca Juniors

Now for a tweet which might get Chelsea and Tottenham fans interested.

Jonathan Calleri is a 22-year-old striker for Boca Juniors and has been linked with both clubs after scoring 10 goals for the Argentina champions this season.

Days ago, his dad said there is interest from an English club as well as Inter Milan.

And now Calleri has taken to Twitter to say goodbye to the club and their fans, surely paving a way for a move to either England or Italy.

Translated, Calleri wrote: “Thank you for everything and goodbye…”

The post is proving popular with Boca fans, who have grown to love the frontman during his time with the club.

He’ll always be remembered for this ridiculous piece of skill against Quilmes in July where he chipped the ball over the goalkeeper for a beautiful Rabona goal:

Now THAT is something to get excited about if you’re a Chelsea or Tottenham fan.
