Chelsea Fans Are Starting to Get Really Upset About Kevin De Bruyne

As a Chelsea fan you must surely be sitting at home, watching the title slip away and thinking to yourself that things could only get better right?

A 0-0 draw at Tottenham on Sunday seen them fall 14 points behind joint league leaders Manchester City and high-flying Leicester after the same number of games played leaving fans in despair, and as the former booked their place in the League Cup semi-final earlier this evening, one former Chelsea player was influential in doing so.

Of course, we’re talking about Kevin De Bruyne who bagged a brace in tonight’s clash with Hull taking his total to nine in fifteen games.

De Bruyne was allowed to leave Stamford Bridge in January 2014 to join Wolfsburg for a fee of £18 million, and after lighting the Bundesliga on fire, the Belgian returned to the Premier League for another crack with Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

While Chelsea struggle to get out of the bottom half of the table, it’s no wonder their fans are up in arms that one of their ex-players is doing so well for a rival and they took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
