Dylan McGeouch Wishes Merry Christmas.. With Picture of Georgios Samaras as Jesus

Dylan McGeouch got in on the funny Christmas messages today by posting a picture of ex-Celtic team-mate Georgios Samaras as Jesus on Twitter.

Carlton Cole kicked things off by using a Steve Harvey meme to wish all of his followers a Merry Christmas.

And we particularly enjoyed this festive bit of banter from ex-Celtic and Dundee midfielder Simon Ferry earlier:

But Hibs midfielder McGeouch produced arguably the best message as he posted a picture of Jesus with Samaras’ head on it:

As most Celtic fans will tell you, Samaras was well-liked during his six-year spell at Parkhead and McGeouch got the chance to play alongside him during that time.

Both are now away from the club, but supporters will enjoy seeing one former player pay tribute to another in hilarious style.

It helps that Samaras actually looks a lot similar to the way Jesus is depicted most commonly around the world.
