Isco Can’t Believe His Eyes as He Sees Toni Kroos on the Bench

Isco couldn’t quite believe Toni Kroos was a substitute in Real Madrid’s 1-0 defeat to Villarreal at the weekend.

The German midfielder was named on the bench for the surprise loss at El Madrigal on Sunday.

The result was surprising, and so too was Kroos being left out of the starting XI for the second game in a row after sitting out all of Real’s 8-0 Champions League victory over Malmo last midweek.

We’re not entirely sure whether Isco was legitimately shocked to see Kroos sit alongside him as the players took their place on the bench before the game or he was sarcastically acting up in front of the cameras because the German World Cup winner has been an ever-present since signing for the club from Bayern Munich last summer.

Regardless, it’s pretty funny to see Isco’s reaction.

While Kroos never made it off the bench, his team-mate did, but could do nothing to stop Roberto Soldado’s goal going down as the winner for Villarreal.
