Neymar Injures Himself Trying to Troll Suarez in Training and Could Miss Club World Cup

Neymar looks set to miss Barcelona’s bid to be officially crowned the best football team on Earth, but Luis Enrique probably won’t be too chuffed with the reason why.

The Brazilian superstar limped out of Barca’s training ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany after trying his best to embarrass Luis Suarez with a fancy trick.

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Neymar, 23, performed a ‘sombrero’, flicking the ball over his back and then over the Uruguayan forward’s head.

As Suarez looked to try and beat Neymar to the ball, the Ballon d’Or finalist overstretched in a bid to avoid the leg of the former Liverpool striker and sustained some soft tissue damage.

He has already been ruled out of most of the Club World Cup in Japan, but club doctors say he has a chance of making the final.

The Catalan club face the winner of a clash between Mexico’s Club America and Asian champions Guangzhou Evergrande in the semi-final on December 17 in Yokohama.

Should they win that clash, then Argentine champions River Plate are favourites to await them in the final on December 20.
