Petr Cech Makes Darth Vader Comparison Ahead of New Star Wars Film

Petr Cech must be excited for the new Star Wars film due out next week after he posted a three-year-old meme showing him morph into Darth Vader.

The Arsenal goalkeeper made history earlier today as his clean sheet in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa took him to 169 in total, equalling David James’ English Premier League record.

Cech rightly posted about that as he took to Twitter following the victory.

But he quickly got down to more important matters, posting a three-year-old meme to mark the release of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ this week:

Love it from Petr. We’re pretty excited about the new Star Wars film too.

On a more serious note, Arsenal’s win put them top of the English Premier League ahead of challengers Leicester going up against Chelsea in the Monday Night Football game.

Jose Mourinho will believe he’s got his team back close to playing the way he wants them and, unless the Foxes put in a huge performance, the reigning champions could help keep Arsenal top of the league going into next weekend.
