Roma Fans Leave 100lbs of Carrots at Club’s Training Ground and Call Players Rabbits

It’s not been a good week for Roma.

The Serie A side have bounced from defeat to defeat lately, with Sunday’s 2-0 reverse at home to Atalanta on Sunday the latest humiliation.

That result arrived just a few days after the 6-1 thrashing to Barcelona at the Nou Camp in the Champions League, when Rudi Garcia’s men felt the full-force of the Catalan side’s trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez.

The Giallorossi have won just two of their last six matches in all competitions but still look set to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages, and despite their defeat to Atalanta, remain fourth in the domestic table.

But their fans clearly aren’t enjoying how things are going at the moment, and wanted to make their feelings known to the squad.

How do you do that? Leave dozens of carrots around the corner from the training ground, of course.

Totti, de Rossi, Dzeko and co arrived for raining on Tuesday morning to see 100 pounds of the healthy treats alongside a massive banner with the message: “Enjoy your food, rabbits.”

Rabbits? Can’t they be quite vicious? Are we missing something here?
