Arsenal host Manchester City in the Premier League tonight in a match that could go a long way to deciding the fate of the Premier League title.
The Gunners look like having their best chance of recapturing England’s top-flight crown for the first time since 2004, and go into the match aiming to cut the gap to leaders Leicester City to just two points.
Man City find themselves just a point further back in third position, and can make a big statement by becoming only the second domestic side to win at The Emirates this season.
Whatever happens tonight, both sides will probably have to rely on the form of their goalkeepers to collect all three points, with Petr Cech and Joe Hart in outstanding form this season.
But which of the two shot-stoppers is enjoying a more fruitful campaign?
Well, it couldn’t really be closer, but stats show Arsenal goalie Cech is slightly out performing his City counterpart.
Cech now has seven clean sheets to his name ahead of tonight’s encounter; the same tally as Hart.
Cech has made 20 more saves than Hart, despite playing just two more games, who has made way for Willy Caballero twice this term.
Hart has conceded 12 goals – one less than Cech – but it is the Czech Republic international who boasts superior levels of distribution.
Both players are undoubtedly a safe pair of hands, but who would you have in your starting line-up? Let us know in the comments section below…
