What a rookie Edin Dzeko is.
The Bosnian striker seemed to forget that every referee in world football knows all of the swear words in the book.
Playing for current club Roma on Sunday, former Manchester City striker Dzeko received the first red card of his entire career after appearing to swear at the referee in English.
Unaware that the Italian whistler was fluent in English, Dzeko is caught on camera looking as though he told him to “F*** off” in the 75th minute of the match after appealing for a penalty, with the Serie A match against Genoa evenly poised at 1-0 to the Romans.

Dezko, who turns 30 in March, is now set to spend at least one match on the sidelines. The first red of his entire career, eh. What a way to get it!
The match eventually ended in a 2-0 victory despite Dzeko’s red, and lifts Rudi Garcia’s men to within four points of leaders Inter Milan, who have a game in hand.
