Former Manchester United duo Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs sat down and picked their FIFA 16 Ultimate Team Legendary XI this week.
Giggs and Neville made 1,072 appearances between them during their playing days at United and were both essential parts in the Class of ’92 which dominated the Premier League for 20 years.
So with that in mind, it’s hard to think of two former players who are better positioned than Giggs and Neville when it comes to picking a legends 11.
First off, the pair were quick in picking their goalkeeper, with Peter Schmeichel edging Edwin van der Sar.
Neville even adds that it was a simple choice as the Great Dane saved his backside on numerous occasions throughout his United career.
Giggs and Neville also pick a mean-looking defence made up of Paolo Maldini, Fabio Cannavaro, England legend Bobby Moore and…yes, Gary Neville.
When it comes to selecting a midfield four, Giggs proudly boasts that he “can work with anyone” before seemingly having a cheeky pop at Gary’s brother Philipp.
Finally they decide on a four which all played in England in Giggs, Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira.
Up top it wasn’t even a contest despite names like Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Robbie Fowler being in the running, Giggs and Neville pick Brazil legend Pele and ex-Arsenal star Dennis Bergkamp.
And in Gary’s words, “that’s an absolutely unbelievable team we’ve picked…and me!”
