The rest of Serie A should start to feel very nervous, because it looks as though Juventus are back.

The reigning Italian champions got off to a terrible start this season, losing three of their opening four domestic matches, and it seemed as though the league championship they’d won for the previous three seasons could be about to switch hands.

But their win on Sunday afternoon over Carpi was their seventh consecutive league victory and lifted the Old Lady up to fourth in the table, just three points behind Inter Milan, who play Lazio this evening.

Two goals from Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic, along with a strike from Paul Pogba, overturned Carpi’s early lead and secured an eventual 3-2 win.

And following Manzukic’s second goal which looked to have sealed all three points, Juve manager Max Allegri couldn’t hide his unbridled joy on the touchline.

Marco Tardelli eat your heart out…

We LOVE a passionate celebration. Fair play, Max.
