The Euro 2016 draw has been made, and pretty much every football fan in Britain is brimming with excitement following the mouth-watering draw – except for those in Scotland.
England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland will all travel to France next summer to take part in the continent’s premier international tournament, but Gordon Strachan and his sorry squad will have to settle for watching it all on the tele.
And whilst missing out is painful enough, one of Strachan’s most dedicated players, James Morrison, is being taunted by his club-mates at West Brom.
During today’s draw, midfielder Morrison was alongside his fellow Baggies players as they travelled to Merseyside for tomorrow’s Premier League match against Liverpool.
And as Sweden’s Jonas Olsson, and Norther Ireland’s Chris Brunt looked on in excitement, Morrison didn’t look particularly interested, and Olsson quickly gave him a gentle reminder of Scotland’s failure.
This is harsh…
Poor James…and poor Scotland!
