Efe Ambrose Savages The Titanic in Brilliant Review

Efe Ambrose Savages The Titanic in Brilliant Review

Efe Ambrose didn’t hold back in his criticism of 1997 film Titanic.

The Hoops defender spoke to the Celtic View recently and was asked his thoughts on the worst film he’s ever seen.

And there was no messing about – with the Nigerian savaging the storyline behind the film which shot Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet to fame almost 20 years ago.

In his short review, when asked about the worst film he’s ever seen, Ambrose said: “I think I’d say Titanic. He died at the end so I didn’t like that.

“At the start it’s good but at the end, everyone just drops off the ship and the guy at the last minute gives up, then the girl leaves so what’s the point?”

Someone needs to get Efe a job reviewing films if he’s going to be as blunt as this going forward.

And maybe those behind the film should hand back all the awards they picked up – they obviously didn’t deserve them.

Away from his film reviews, Ambrose is busy preparing for Celtic’s League Cup semi-final clash with Ross County at Hampden on Sunday.

If the Hoops can make it past the Staggies, they’ll take on either Hibs or St Johnstone in the final.
