Erik Lamela is the Tottenham Two Touch Challenge Master

Erik Lamela is the Tottenham Two Touch Challenge Master

If there is one thing never in doubt about Erik Lamela, it’s that he has an incredible first touch.

And he demonstrated that earlier this week while playing an intense game of two touch with Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Nabil Bentaleb.

Mauricio Pochettino had his side in Barcelona getting some warm weather training and a rest to prepare for this weekend’s FA Cup clash away at Colchester and the rest of the season.

There have already been some entertaining moments in Spurs’ trip, with youngster Harry Winks losing a game of rock, paper, scissors a particular highlight.

But this Two Touch Challenge match between Lamela and Bentaleb is the best – with the Argentine winger looking sharp with his 6-2 beating of the Algerian.

Dele Alli is the man behind the camera to record the game after training and you can see it here:

How soft is that Lamela touch? He literally does not let one of Bentaleb’s passes out of his body before firing it back.

I suppose it shouldn’t come as a surprise though – this is the same man who did this during a game last season:
