Nemanja Vidic Ends Inter Milan Contract and Manchester United Fans Want Him Back

Former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic terminated his contract with Serie A giants Inter Milan this afternoon.

Vidic, 34, left Old Trafford in 2014 but found it difficult to adjust at the San Siro and endured a torrid first season.

And since Roberto Mancini returned to the club, the former Serbia international has been relegated to the bench with Inter currently flying high and sitting 3rd in the table.

It soon went from bad to even worse for Vidic, who found himself further down the pecking order with a hernia injury hampering his progress and playing time.

However, despite the defender’s age and clear struggle for both form and fitness, some Manchester United fans want Louis Van Gaal to seal a return for the veteran this month.

It’s being reported by Football Italia that Vidic may be heading to the MLS, with DC United among potential suitors.

Yet the Old Trafford faithful clearly believe that the player, who won five Premier League titles and a Champions League with the club, would add something to their current squad:
