The move to incorporate United into TaylorMade-adidas golf comes after the club signed a £750million, 10-year deal with German sportswear giants to supply the club’s kit from the start of this season.

On the new partnership, David Silvers, managing director of the TaylorMade-adidas EMEA, said: “As a company we are incredibly excited to be working with Manchester United.

“We know that there are thousands of golfers on the terraces of Old Trafford each week and around Europe, and to be able to partner with the club to create this range of bespoke merchandise is a fantastic opportunity.

“We’re greatly looking forward to working more closely with the team at Manchester United to further build the partnership between the brands.”

We’re pretty confident that the new range will be a big hit with Manchester United fans keen to show their support for the team on the golf course.

United group managing director Richard Arnold said: “Like Manchester United, TaylorMade is an iconic name within sport.

“We believe the range of Manchester United golf attire and accessories produced will be popular with our fans across the globe.

“These products are reflective of the fantastic quality and design we have experienced from across the adidas group and the strength of what is a fantastic partnership.”
