Tennis Fans Can’t Believe They Woke Up Early to See Novak Djokovic v Andy Murray

Some tennis fans can’t believe they got up so early on a Sunday only to see Novak Djokovic dismantle Andy Murray in the Australian Open final.

The Scot had produced a brilliant overall performance in the first Grand Slam of the tennis season, going all the way to the final game after beating the likes of Bernard Tomic, David Ferrer and Milos Raonic.

But it’s going all wrong for him today in the Rod Laver Arena as his Serbian opponent has blitzed his way to a 2-0 lead in sets.

Murray has really struggled to find any momentum, with Djokovic dominating from the back of the court and managing to stand strong under any pressure from his opponent.

And this is not what British fans – who had to set their alarms for 8am today – expected.

Here, we’ve rounded up some supporters frustrated that they woke up early on a Sunday morning to see Djokovic take Murray apart:
