Twitter Reacts: No-One’s Surprised Ross McCormack is Forcing Fulham Exit

Ross McCormack looks set for more transfer window drama after having a transfer request rejected at Fulham.

The Scottish striker has been the subject of a £9million bid from Middlesbrough already this transfer window, but that was thrown out by the Cottagers.

He’s in demand after scoring 17 goals in all competitions for his club this season.

But it’s believed Fulham want all of the £10.75million they spent to sign him from Leeds before letting him go to the English Championship high-flyers.

Not that McCormack is content with the situation – handing in a transfer request which has been rejected by his club.

The former Rangers, Motherwell and Cardiff man has previous for making headlines ahead of the transfer window closing.

In 2014’s edition of the January transfer window – and while a Leeds player – he spoke live on Sky Sports just three hours before the deadline about how shocked he was by manager Brian McDermott’s sacking and how his future at Elland Road could have been under threat.

Now he looks like being involved all the way up to Monday’s deadline with Middlesbrough still interested in making him their player.

Fans aren’t surprised to see McCormack causing a fuss – and some took to Twitter to give their reaction:
