Video: Football Fans Less Than Impressed With David Moyes’s Awful Punditry

David Moyes was back on our TV screens tonight as a pundit for Sky Sports.

The former Everton boss returned to Goodison Park for the Toffees’ League Cup semi-final first-leg against Manchester City, and some of his comments came under scrutiny pretty quickly before the match.

Moyes was clearly challenging Michael Owen for the role of British football’s Captain Obvious…

Great, thanks for clearing all that up, Dave.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Moyes struggled woefully in his attempts to pronounce the name of Everton’s opening goal scorer, as he repeatedly referred to Ramiro Funes Mori as ‘Munes Fori’.

If he’s struggling with that, you have to wonder what went on inside his dressing room at Real Sociedad.

As you’d probably expect, the usually understandable football fans frequenting Twitter took time out of their day to vent their fury at the Scotsman.

Lets just be thankful he isn’t on social media…
