Memphis Depay returned to PSV to say goodbye to the club’s fans yesterday and it was absolutely EPIC.
The Dutch winger bid farewell to Netherlands’ champions last summer, moving to Manchester United for a fee of around £25 million.
But with the transfer materialising in the off-season, Depay wasn’t given a proper opportunity to say his farewells to the team’s supporters, so he was guest of honour at the Philips Stadium for Sunday’s Eredivisie clash against Twente Enschede.
Depay has failed to hit the heights of last season at Old Trafford, scoring just five goals in 28 appearances, but by the looks of things, he’d be welcomed back at PSV in a heartbeat, with the entire ground uniting to show the 21-year-old their appreciation…

An unused substitute in the 1-0 loss to Southampton, United supporters will hope the Dutchman’s reminder of success with the Eredivisie club will provide the winger with a much-needed confidence boost as the Red Devils look to get back to winning ways.
