Conor McGregor won’t fight Rafael dos Anjos in Las Vegas at UFC 196 after the Brazilian reportedly pulled out with a broken foot.
According to mmafighting.com, the fighter picked up the injury late last week and UFC has since been working on finding a replacement to take on McGregor on March 5.
This isn’t the first time a Brazilian opponent has pulled out of facing McGregor through injury.
Last July, the Irishman was due to fight Jose Aldo for the featherweight championship at UFC 189, but the man from Manaus couldn’t fight due to a rib injury sustained in training.
Instead, McGregor fought and beat Chad Mendes before beating Aldo in a rearranged bout in December.
But so far there has been no official confirmation of the news or a replacement for McGregor to fight – just reports and A LOT of angry fans.
