Cam Newton broke his silence on social media since losing Super Bowl 50 by telling his critics: iW1LL W1N MY WAY!
Why the ridiculous characters? Because, for some reason, the Carolina Panthers quarterback feels like typing out messages which are harder to read is a good idea.
Anyway, Newton has been quiet online since losing the Super Bowl last Sunday to the Denver Broncos.
Just a day after becoming NFL MVP for the first time, the QB and his strong Panthers team were favourites to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy at Levi’s Stadium.
But they failed to live up to the hype, with Broncos and their Von Miller-led defense putting the shackles on Newton and his number one-ranked offense.
Newton’s performance made headlines, but storming out his post-game press conference made more and he’s had a week of criticisms from opponents, fans, former players, pundits and anyone else with a voice.
Now he’s taken to social media to reflect on the last week, insist he’ll win his way.. and write it in his own ridiculous way:
It’s going to be a long season for Newton, but one you’d expect him to be motivated throughout as he aims to bounce back from Super Bowl 50 disappointment by leading the Panthers on to another winning season.
