Celtic Fans Seem Pretty Unhappy After Patrick Roberts and Scott Allan Left Out Against East Kilbride

Celtic are currently taking on East Kilbride in the Scottish Cup but their fans were far from happy with the starting line-up.

Hoops manager Ronny Deila opted for a strong starting line-up in the wake of two straight defeats to Ross County and Aberdeen, handing Colin Kazim-Richards his first start for the club after joining at the end of the January transfer window.

But despite playing the part-timers, there was no room for the likes of Patrick Roberts, Ryan Christie or even Scott Allan in the XI, with Deila perhaps well aware of the hefty consequences should his team fail to win.

Fans were eager for a look at Roberts and Christie, with neither yet to start a match in a Hoops jersey, and Scott Allan’s quest to get a game continues to look baffling.

Supporters quickly took to social media to vent their frustrations…

What do you think about the team?

As it stands, the tie at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium is still 1-0, with Leigh Griffiths prodding home from close range.
