What’s that old saying? Money goes to money?
Well, for a prime example, you need look no further than Cristiano Ronaldo, who earned an eye-watering amount of money for doing next to no work at all.
The Real Madrid superstar is one of the highest paid sportsmen in the world at Los Blancos, earning in excess of £300,000 per week, and is also in the process of building a rather lucrative real estate profile for when he decides to hang up his boots.
But details have been revealed about his other ventures away from the football pitch, and some of the things he gets paid so handsomely to do are absolutely staggering.
According to Football Leaks, via The Sun, Ronaldo was paid £836,000 to simply sign a few Portugal shirts, put out two sponsored posts to his followers on social media, and have a photoshoot.
The staggering amount was handed over by Saudi Arabian telecoms giant Mobily and is no doubt the easiest money Ronnie has ever paid.
Not bad work if you can get it!
