Manchester United’s Nick Powell Admits He Was Playing FIFA Instead of Watching FC Midtjylland Defeat

It’s probably fair to say that Nick Powell doesn’t really see his future at Manchester United.

The midfielder was once labelled a future England international by Sir Alex Ferguson, but he has failed to hit the heights most expected since arriving at Old Trafford.

In fact, Powell has only played a handful of games for United in the last three years, and was loaned out to Hull City in the January transfer window, despite playing in the crucial Champions League match at Wolfsburg.

But now that he’s moved on to pastures new, Powell doesn’t appear to be keeping abreast of  the goings on at his old team, and even admitted that he FORGOT to watch their defeat to FC Midtjylland on Thursday night because he was playing his PlayStation.

United lost the last-32 tie with the Danish champions 2-1, and will be hoping for a better result and performance next week at Old Trafford.

Lets just hope Powell remembers it’s on.
